The EasySplicer PM is a very accurate and easy to use Optic Power Meter.
The accuracy of the readout is very high; ∓0.1dB for SM and ∓0.2dB for MM with a readout resolution of 0.01dB.
The EasySplicer PM is also very affordable which makes the unit even more attractive.
The instrument is designed for readout and measuring of both Single Mode- and Multi Mode- wavelength. For Single Mode it
can measure; 1310nm, 1490nm 1550nm and 1625nm (this with a dynamic of +26dB to -50dB).
For Multi Mode it can be set for 850nm and 1300nm (with a dynamic of+26dB to -40dB).
Together with the EasySplicer PM (and/or the EasySplicer OTDRsm/OTDRmm) it makes a perfect pair for testing Single
Mode- and Multi Mode -links/Networks. After performing a test the instrument can save the measured values in the internal memory (up to 1000 measurements).
The EasySplicer PM has a standard SC UPC output and comes with adapters for LC and FC making it easy to connect with all types of Single Mode cable/connectors.
The unit also got a built in VFL (Visual Fault Locator) for easy service job and visual check that cables/connectors are with a minimum of loss.
The unit is delivered with 3x AA rechargeable batteries and a AC/DC power supply charger .
It can be operated +100 hours with the fully charged batteries (it can also be powered direct with the power supply).
The EasySplicer PM comes very handy in a soft carrying-case with all necessary accessories in the main pocket. Total weight of the instrument with batteries and carrying-case is less than one kg.
